More Fools Than Ever!

Just after midnight, on Saturday evening/Sunday morning, 1037 registered runners and walkers took to the streets and trails of Minocqua for Marshfield Clinic’s Only Fools Run at Midnight – the largest year yet.  It was a wonderful, fun-filled, foolish event that raised money for local non-profit groups including Girls on the Run of the Northwoods, Lakeland DECA, Boy Scout Troop #564, Thunderbird Track & Field Club, Lake Tomahawk Lions Club, Lakeland Wrestling Club and Lakeland Senior Center.

Over one hundred volunteers from non-profit groups, businesses and the community helped the Minocqua Area Chamber of Commerce staff and Events Committee with a full day and night of activities starting with a Fools Feed and ending with the Fool’s Gold Awards Ceremony.
